STAFF

Every member of our staff is an improvisational actor at Laughter for a Change.  In this way, they have an experiential understanding of the improvisation process and bring that perspective to all the work they do for our organization.

ed-greenburgEd Greenberg, Founding Director of Laughter for a Change, is an improvisational theater director, voice over actor and acting teacher. Ed has directed The Second City in Chicago and taught improv at UCLA, USC School for Cinematic Arts and Pasadena Community College. He is a workshop leader and presenter around the U.S. and internationally with a focus on laughter, storytelling and enhancing communication skills. In addition to his work with Laughter for a Change, Ed runs improv and creativity training intensives, coaches executives, and works with film directors, writers and actors to sharpen their comedy skills.

David Chung, Communications Manager and Comedy Mentor, brings for-profit and non-profit experience to L4C. David is the Co-Founder of Baghaus.com, a niche retail e-commerce company.  David also served as Program Associate at the Durfee Foundation and Youth Services Coordinator at the Koreatown Youth and Community Center. He currently leads the “Better Health Through Laughter” project at the West Los Angeles Veterans Medical Center.

michael-felbingerMichael Felbinger, L4C New Media Producer, has produced, directed, and/or shot numerous pieces for Miller Brewing Company, OfficeMax, The Green Living Project and Comcast. He also has produced theater in Los Angeles, acted in musical theater around the world and sings on the “How to Sing Broadway” C.D.

Keong Sim, Comedy Mentor, has acted in numerous film, T.V. and stage productions.  In addition to his skills as an improv actor and teacher, Keong has worked at The Public Theater in New York and Steppenwolf Theater in his hometown of Chicago, as well as around the globe in such places as Canada, Cuba, England and the Czech Republic.  Keong has worked extensively using improv-based techniques for corporate training seminars. He currently leads the “Funny Class” at Pacific Lodge Boys’ Home.

Patrick Ian Moore, Comedy Mentor, began acting in the Trail of Tears Drama at The Cherokee Heritage Center in Oklahoma. He won the Spirit of Oklahoma Award for Outstanding Achievement in Theater. Patrick studied improv at IO West and co-founded Hammerspace Improv and IO Book Club. In addition to leading L4C improv outreach workshops at the Korean Youth & Community Center, Patrick performs professionally as a mime and is a cartoonist.
