All classes run eight weeks and are taught by L4C Founding Director Ed Greenberg.

The cost of each eight-week session is $250.00.  All proceeds from class fees help to support our community initiatives.

UPCOMING CLASSES FOR SPRING 2010:

Level 1 – Introduction to Theater Games, Beginning Scene Improvisation

* LEVEL 1 begins Tuesday, March 23rd, 7 - 10 p.m.

Playing agreement, character relationship, environment, making strong active choices.  Relax and play, listen and respond, don’t worry about being funny.

Level 2 – Scene Improvisation, Introduction to Sketch Comedy

Required For Enrollment: Level 1

Making it funny by keeping it real.  Finding obstacles, creating events and recognizing the “story” in the scene.

Level 3 – Advanced Scene Improv, Long Form 101

*  LEVEL 3 begins Saturday, March 6th, 1 - 4 p.m.
Required For Enrollment: Levels 1 + 2

Raising the stakes, transformations and the cinematic aspects of improv. Bringing the craft of scene improvisation to basic long-form structures, exploring the interplay between short form and long-form in performance.

Comedy Mentor Trainee Program Coming Soon

Explores the humanistic and social justice aspects of improv.  Comedy Mentor trainees will be able to teach a Level 1 class as a Laughter for a Change Community Outreach initiative.
